ant512 propose le portage de "Chuckie Egg", remake du jeu de Plates-formes Chuckie_Egg dans sa version Dragon 32 pour la Game Boy Advance.

I'm working on porting my NDS Chuckie Egg remake to the GBA. Here's a quick preview:

So far the first level is playable. Use the d-pad to walk left/right and climb/descend ladders. Use A or B to jump. To climb ladders, press and hold up as you approach it and your character (Harry) will grab it as he walks past.

To do:

- The duck at the top-left should be in a cage.
- Score/lives/bonus/level indicators.
- Code to handle level completion event.
- Title screen.
- High score table.
- "Get ready" text between levels.

Hmm, it looks like the hens are the wrong color too.

Changes:

- Added title screen;
- Sprites are positioned correctly;
- Added duck cage;
- Color fixes;
- ROM size halved.

I replaced the enormous wav files that contained samples of the original game's title screen and death music, and the pause jingle, with a 5K XM mod.

I've discovered that the EZ-Flash IV cart does something evil to the ROM. Some builds refuse to work at all on the cart. This build works OK unless you pause the game, at which point it will freeze. The game works great on a Supercard SD and under emulation.

I'd be very interested to hear about how well the game works with other flash carts.
