DaeFennek propose la version 0.0.7 de "WoxelCraft", moteur de jeu utilisant les Voxel, une technique utilisée pour afficher les terrains dans certains jeux video (Outcast, Cube World, etc...).
C'est également un clone de l'incontournable Minecraft.

bubble2k16, déjà auteur de plusieurs émulateurs optimisés pour les Old 2DS/3DS, propose une première ébauche de "PicoDrive 3DS".
"PicoDrive 3DS" est le portage de l'émulateur Sega Master System et Sega Mega Drive "PicoDrive" pour la nintendo 2DS/3DS, toujours optimisés pour les Old 2DS/3DS.

This is a port of notaz's PicoDrive emulator to the old 3DS / 2DS. Although PicoDrive is already highly optimized for ARM processors, if ported as is, it still doesn't run full speed for all Mega Drive games on the old 3DS / 2DS, as it's evident in the RetroArch's version. So this port heavily relies on the 3DS's 2nd core to emulate the FM synthesized music for the YM2612 FM chip to achieve 60 FPS. But the 2nd core on the old 3DS is unfortunately not fast enough to generate the FM synthesized music at a full 44100Hz, so sounds are generated at 30000Hz on an Old 3DS. It sounds ok for many games, except for those that use high-pitched notes or sound samples.

The screen rendering is done completely using the original PicoDrive's ARM processor-optimized renderer.

You can play Master System and Mega Drive games. Sega CD games are now supported too! They run full speed on a New 3DS with no audio clipping. Some games like Sonic CD and Final Fight CD can also run on the Old 3DS at 60 fps with frame skipping set to 1.

I does not support 32X games yet. Meanwhile use the Retroarch versions for those. :)

The default maps for the controls are:
1. 3DS' Y Button -> MD's A Button,
2. 3DS' B Button -> MD's B Button,
3. 3DS' A Button -> MD's C Button,

This emulator uses the same user interface as VirtuaNES for 3DS, TemperPCE for 3DS, Snes9x for 3DS. It will run better on the New 3DS as usual, where all music and sound samples will be generated at 44100Hz.

Homebrew Launcher:

1. Copy picodrive_3ds.3dsx, picodrive_3ds.smdh and picodrive_3ds_top.png into the /3ds/picodrive_3ds folder on your SD card.
2. Place your ROMs inside any folder.
3. Go to your Homebrew Launcher (either via Cubic Ninja, Soundhax or other entry points) and launch the picodrive_3ds emulator.

CIA Version:

1. Use your favorite CIA installer to install picodrive_3ds.cia into your CFW. You can also use FBI to download from TitleDB.
2. Place your ROMs inside any folder.
3. Copy picodrive_3ds_top.png to ROOT of your SD card.
4. Exit your CIA installer and go to your CFW's home screen to launch the app.

When in-game:

1. Tap the bottom screen for the menu.
2. Use Up/Down to choose option, and A to confirm. (Hold down X while pressing Up/Down to Page Up/Page Down)
3. Use Left/Right to change between ROM selection and emulator options.
4. You can quit the emulator to your homebrew launcher / your CFW's home screen.

The app now tells you when you have too many/no themes selected when attempting to use shuffle - now you can select more than 10, and toggle off the ones you don't want - the feature you never knew you wanted.
When viewing the preview of an item that doesn't have one, Anemone would previously show the last one you viewed - no longer! You now receive a warning instead, telling you that there is no such preview. (Thanks to @LiquidFenrir)
START and SELECT finally got their own icons. About time. (Thanks to @Wizzrobes for these!)
A ton of bugfixes, for that Nintendo level stability... hopefully.
A whole host of grammatical and aesthetic changes, to make everything look nicer™️

For everyone, you'll enjoy the "swim up for your live" mechanics that will let you go forward even if you missed a jump and fell into the ink. Well, you cannot recover *every* missed jump that way, but it's already much more forgiving than it used to be.

You'll also enjoy how jumping into an Inkjet now automatically let you in, dropping the Dumb Blador you're carrying, if any.

gameplay

You're controlling Bilou, a blue, ball-shaped explorer. You make him JUMP with the (A) button and grab things (or throw them) with (B). Your goal is to reach the right of each level before you're caught by the ever-raising ink.
You'll need to be quick, too. Use (R) or double-tap in left/right directions as if you were a pink, living vacuum cleaner.

You can stomp some monsters, you can throw sharpeners at others. Remember: the pencil soldats are the only real threat here, and they must be stopped from pouring even more ink for their autoritarist plans. Everything else that looks dangerous is mostly acting on fear and may prove very useful if you keep your head cold. Think about how useful a bobbing sponge could be if you could ride it (B). or how high an inkwell could shoot you ...

There are rumours of magical artifacts that could help you. The Fist of Justice, that noone can stand against (double-B) and the Floating Twister (hold A), that let you reach far away places. It's unlikely the pendats will let you recover them without a fight, though.

Story

At the far east of this school-like country, there is a gauge that will stop the ink. Rush for it! The books city is close to be destroyed once for all, and the elders' knowledge will be lost. This must be another plot from Square Root, who decided that mathematics are the only thing worth of being written down.
Everyone here seems to believe that Bilou is a sort of legendary hero...

[3DS] Higurashi 3DS v2.3[Edit]

MyLeGuy propose la version 2.3 de "Higurashi 3DS", portage non-officiel du Visual Novel "Higurashi: When They Cry" pour la nintendo 3DS.
Attention, il faut posséder le jeu PC dans sa version Steam ou MangaGamer afin d'appliquer les patch de conversions.

PS3 Patch Installation (text tutorial)

This is done BEFORE you use the script converter.

The PS3 patch is being changed so often that I can't keep up.
For now, I don't think I'll support the version where they mod the game's code.
Here are instructions for installing the release right before the DLL changes.

AUTO INSTALLER (Windows & Linux only)
====================
Step 1 - Download my auto-installer.
Step 2 - Extract the ZIP file.
Step 3 - Run HigurashiPS3AutoC. Windows users can double click the program. Linux users can run "run.sh."
Step 4 - When prompted, enter the game you want to install the patch for.
Step 5 - When prompted, enter 6. This is the option labeled "Install the older Higurashi-Vita compatible version."
Step 6 - When prompted, enter the file path to your game instillation's data folder. If the program can automatically detect the location, you can just press enter without typing anything to use the example.
Step 7 - Wait for it to finish. This can take a while depending on your internet speed and computer speed.

MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS
====================
Step 1 - Find your StreamingAssets folder. For me, chapter 2's StreamingAssets folder was at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Higurashi 02 - Watanagashi\HigurashiEp02_Data\StreamingAssets.
Step 2 - Head here.
Step 3 - Select one of the files you see on the Github page. The file you choose depends on which chapter of the game you are patching. For example, if I was patching chapter 2, Watanagashi, I would open "watanagashi.urls"
Step 4 - After you open the file, you'll see a bunch of URLs. Download all of them. There should be 4 in total.
Step 5 - Unzip all of the files you just downloaded.
Step 5.5 - After unzipping the files you downloaded, you should see folders with names like "Update", "SE", "CG", and "CGAlt".
Step 6 - Move these folders into your StreamingAssets folder. If done correctly, you should be asked if you want to overwrite some files. Choose to do so.

Setup (text tutorial)

You need to actually own the games on Steam or MangaGamer. Link to the first chapter on Steam.

Main homebrew setup:
Step 0 - (CIA USERS ONLY) Make sure /3ds/dspfirm.cdc exists. If not, dump it with a DSP dumper homebrew.
Step 1 - Download the latest version of the main homebrew The file should be named Higurashi-3ds-vX.X.zip.
Step 2 - Extract the ZIP file. On Windows this is done by right clicking the file and pressing "Extract All."
Step 3 - If you're using the 3dsx version with the homebrew launcher, open the "3dsx" folder. If you're using the CIA version, open the "CIA" folder.
Step 4 - Copy everything in the folder to the root of your 3ds' SD card.
Step 4.5 - If you're using the CIA version, install the CIA, of course.
Step 4.8 - If you want, delete /3ds/data/HIGURASHI/Games/PLACEHOLDER.txt

Game converter tutorial:
Step 0 - If you want the PS3 Voices & Graphics patch, install it first. Refer to the special instructions in this post.
Step 1 - Download the script and image converter.
Step 2 - Extract the ZIP file.
Step 3 - The next step is to get the files from the Higurashi game you want. Right click on of the Higurashi games on Steam and click "Properties" at the bottom of the menu.
Step 4 - Click "LOCAL FILES" in the top bar and then click "BROWSE LOCAL FILES".
Step 5 - A folder will be opened showing the game's files. Look inside the folder called HigurashiEpXX_Data. Copy the folder called "StreamingAssets".
Step 6 - Paste StreamingAssets in the same directory as the extracted script converter program.
Step 7 - Run HigurashiVitaCovnerter.exe.
Step 7.2 - When prompted by the program, enter 1 because we're converting for the 3ds.
Step 7.3 - If the script converter is stuck trying to rename the StreamingAssets folder, make sure no programs are using the folder and you're not viewing it in the file explorer.
Step 8 - When it's finished, take the StreamingAssets folder and put it at /3ds/data/HIGURASHI/Games/.

[Wii] FlashHax[Edit]

La nintendo Wii vient de fêter ses 11 ans au début du mois et continue malgré tout de faire parler d'elle. En effet, un nouvel exploit "FlashHax" vient de voir le jour.
Ce nouvel exploit dit "Webkit" permet de hacker votre console sans même posséder de carte SD, juste en démarrant Internet Channel et en vous rendant sur flashhax.com.

This is an exploit in the Wii's Internet Channel which can still be freely downloaded from the shopping channel.
This exploit is entirely loaded over the internet so you don't even need an SD card for this.
The goal in the future is to have a little app store where you can launch any homebrew app without having to go through the Homebrew Channel or mess around with preparing files on an SD card.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for the vWii since Nintendo doesn't allow you to download the Internet Channel on the vWii. Although if you install the channel through homebrew it should in theory work (untested tho).

Currently the only payload that is prepared is the HackMii Installer (v1.2) so you can install homebrew on a Wii that has a broken SD card reader.
Although good luck trying to get any homebrew apps to play nice without their SD card support.

Here is the current guide to FlashHax.

1. Make sure you are running 4.3U (untested but might work on other regions) with the latest version of the Internet Channel.
2. In the Internet Channel go to flashhax.com
3. When the page loads it should tell you to bookmark this page. Go ahead and add the page as a favorite.
If you get this far then you can start from here if the exploit fails.
4. Click the page label "Exploit" that just got added in the favorites menu.
You should be booted into the HackMii installer after a few seconds.
It is normal for the "Downloading payload" screen to take a few seconds (15 or so).
If you get stuck on a screen that says "Downloading payload", "Performing Hax", or "Everything is not ok!" then hold down the power button on your Wii to try again.

From now on all you have to do is click the Exploit page from the favorites menu to be launched into the installer.
As I said above this isn't that useful to do multiple times however I hope to have a landing page where you can select what app you want to launch. (Coming soon... maybe... I haven't really started on this yet)

Place your NES ROMs inside any folder.
Copy virtuanes_3ds_top.png to ROOT of your SD card.
Exit your CIA installer and go to your CFW's home screen to launch the app.

FDS BIOS

To load .FDS games, make sure that you get the FDS BIOS.
Rename the BIOS to disksys.rom and place it in /3ds/virtuanes_3ds/bios/disksys.rom


When in-game:

Tap the bottom screen for the menu.
Use Up/Down to choose option, and A to confirm. (Hold down X while pressing Up/Down to Page Up/Page Down)
Use Left/Right to change between ROM selection and emulator options.
You can quit the emulator to your homebrew launcher / your CFW's home screen.

MrHuu propose une première ébauche de "OpenTitus 3DS", portage du moteur de jeu "OpenTitus" pour la nintendo 2DS/3DS.
OpenTitus est le portage du moteur de jeu utilisé dans les version DOS de Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back (1992) et Les Aventures de Moktar - Vol 1: La Zoubida (1991) sorti sur Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST et MS-DOS.

La team Libretro propose la version 1.6.9 de "RetroArch NGC", portage pour la Nintendo GameCube de l'API multi-plateformes "RetroArch" qui regroupe principalement des émulateurs.

[Wii] Wii64 beta 1.2[Edit]

FIX94 propose la version beta 1.2 de l'émulateur Nintendo 64 pour la Wii/Gamecube, "Wii64" pour la nintendo Wii.

compiled both rice and gln64 versions are included in that, so you can play around with it.
oh, also to use sync by VI, open your sd:/wii64/settings.cfg in some editor and set "LimitVIs" to 1, to use sync by audio instead, set it to 0. By default I have it compiled right now to sync by audio, to me that just seems like the better choice

based on official repo plus these changes:
-support for wiiu gamepad in wii vc mode
-option to toggle nand pagefile
-added back in sync to audio when VI limit is set to 0
-added deadzone for classic controllers and wiiu pro controllers
-using ios58 and can be used as a wiiflow plugin

[3DS] Snes9x 3DS v1.20=>1.21[Edit]

bubble2k16 propose la version 1.20 puis 1.21 de "Snes9x 3DS", portage de l'émulateur Snes9x pour la nintendo 2DS/3DS.
Il s'agit d'une version optimisé afin de faire tourner les roms à 50/60 fps sur les Old 3DS qui disposent de moins de puissance que les New 3DS.
